History of Baesa High School 

      Baesa High School is a public secondary school which had its beginning as a barangay high school in the early part of the 1970's. The school was established through a Parents- Teachers Association (PTA) Resolution initiated by the parents and residents in the community coursed through the PTA President of Baesa Elementary School, Mr. Anastacio Baguguinto. Hence, on its first year of operation, classes at Baesa High School were held within the campus of Baesa Elementary School..

      The first school heads of Baesa High School were also the school principals of Baesa Elementary School namely, Mr. Marcelino Lorenzo ( 1974) and Mrs. Anilia A. Calamba. It was during Mrs. Calamba's term of  office that the school held its first Commencement Exercises in the school year 1979-1980. 

      In the year 1981, the authorities decided to declare all barangay high schools in Caloocan independent from the administration and supervision of elementary principals Mr. Joel T. San Luis.He served the school until 1985. He was succeeded by his brother, Mr. Bernardo T. San Luis.

    M. Ofelia B. Bolima replaced Mr. San Luis in 1986. with Ms. Bolima's transfer to another school in 1987, Mrs. Lucia O. De Guzman was assigned to fill the vacancy and had served the school until 1989. Mrs, De Guzman was credited for her efforts in the construction of a three- strorey 12 -classroom building funded by the Caloocan City Government during the time of Mayor Boy Asistio.

    During the time of Mr. Geronimo Matulac in 1989-1990, another two-story  4 classroom building was constructed to address the increase in enrolment in 1900- 1996. Dr. Erlinda M. Fornoles was the school principal when an additional three- storey 8 classroom building was constructed. 

      Dr. Reynaldo V. Yamsuan became the principal of Baesa High School from 1996- 1998. He was followed by Mrs. Corazon M. San Luis, then the Science Department Head, who acted as the Officer-in-charge of the school from January to July 1998.Mrs,Melchorita C. Zuniga transferred in August of the same year. Mrs. Zuniga was instrumental in the construction of another three-strorey , six classroom  building acquired from the funds of then Congressman Dante V. Liban of Quezon City.

    Dr. Dolores Pang from Bagong Barrio National High School replaced Mrs. Zuniga in 2002. Mrs. Zuniga served the school until her retirement on JUne 29, 2005. Mr. Eustachio Gagarra served the school for four months and was transferred to another school in the latter part of October 2005. 

       Dr. Marietta D. Gan was assigned at Baesa High School from 2005-2012. It was in 2008 when an adjacent lot was granted to the school where a three-storey -6 classroom building was erected, funded by the city government under Mayor Enrico Echiverri. Her compulsory retirement in November 2012 paved the transfer of Mrs. Nimfa U. David from Leano High School.

      Dr. Ginalyn B. Dignos from Caloocan City Business High School became the new Principal on November 12, 2015.
